Maria Peters

Dutch director Maria Peters wrote and directed a number of exellent films for children. Her filmography consists of 'Peter Bell'-films (2001 and 2003). The beautiful short story film 'First Child on the Moon' also has to be mentioned in this list. Besides he work as a director, she also worked as a producer for the production company 'Shootin Star', based in Amsterdam.
Mohammed Kounda

This Frenchman, with Touareg roots, has travelled across the globe on ships during 10 years. His travels encouraged his passion for images and music. He started out with photographic exhibitions, later he gave concerts and eventually he started making short films. This autodidact is a talented man! During the festival Mohammeds first feature film, 'Chantz, child of Jazz', is screened.
Jourik Vandervorst

Jourik Vandevorst, educated in Crime Science, started his career as a television researcher. Soon after that he started working for different television production companies and networks, first as employee, nowadays as an independent collaborator. The most important were TV De Wereld, Woestijnvis and Sylvester Productions. Recently he made the EBU documentary "My Buddy".
Rodriguo Litorriaga

Rodriguo Litorriaga, a Belgian with roots in Chile, made his first short film 'Tramway' in 2001. Two years later he completed the short film "C'est l'histoire d'un Belge." This film had a lot of success at festivals, both in Belgium and on an international level. He's currently preapring a new short film.
Lina Uzkuraityte

Lina is the founder and director of the First International Film festival for Children and Young people in Lithuania which was held for the first time in 2004. She studies at Unesco cultural policy and cultural management MA programme in Vilnius Art Academy and works on projects for children and youth in Lithuania Youth Center in Vilnius.
