Willemijn lost many thing when the firework plant in Enschede exploded on March 13th 2000. Her house, the doll her grandmother have her and her cat, Loedertje. She wrote the script for this documentary.
She wants to find Loedertje, but first she needs permission. After consulting a police officer and 2 civil servants, she is allowed to enter the disaster area. Wrapped up in protective clothing, she walks among the heaps of rubble. She stands on the bare remains of her house and explains where everything used to be. She is assisted by an animal ambulance team, who sets traps for Loedertje. When he gets back home, she is called and told that a cat has been caught.
