Film Fun in Bed: FAQ

Which films can I watch?
You can choose between a full-length film and ten short films. The full-length film is the opening or closing film of The Youth Film Festival. The ten short films are the ones that compete in The Youth Film Festival. They are all European films. The exact programme can be viewed after you logged in.

Why do you not show Disney films?
The purpose of The Youth Film Festival is to introduce you to an alternative selection of films. These are films that are shown in Belgium especially for the festival, so you would not get to see these films otherwise. Since we are a European Film Festival, we only show European films.

Until when are the films available?
The films are available until the end of the festival, which is the last Sunday of the semester break.

How can I vote for a film?
After you watched the film, you can share your opinion of the film. Beneath the film, you will see four buttons: ugh (pfff), so and so (zo en zo), nice (tof), great (waauw). Click on the button that matches your opinion and your vote will be registered.

What happens with my vote?
The votes of all children for each short film are counted. The short film with the highest amount of votes is the winner of Film Fun In Bed. The winner, chosen by you, will be mentioned during the prize-giving ceremony at the end of The Youth Film Festival.
